A nice follow on.....

Was reading Aristotle Nicomachean Ethics yesterday (Nicomachean Ethics 1097a 30-34) and he said (essentially) that the end goal to which we should direct all our activities was happiness; this is because it is an ultimate end in it's-self, self-sufficient and final - "that which is always desirable in it's-self and never for the sake of something else".
To put it another way everybody is rushing around doing things and trying to achieve things because they think those things will make them happy and the end result is just a life of being busy for nothing and no end point (of happiness) is ever reached. No end point is ever reached because all those things are stressful - they require a constant moving forward to achieve - meanwhile happiness is here and now and requires no stress, no movement, no doing or action.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for this post because when it arrived in my email this morning it helped re-enforce the message.

Thanks for reading. Sorry it took so long to get back. I am still learning the technical issues.

I love the topic of happiness. I think if we all could just focus on that, we would all live in a better world.

In the meanwhile, I focus on my own happiness, trying to help the people closest to me be happy and encourage others with this website.

The only way I could become the happier man I am today was by leaving my wife.  You might be in the same situation I was in.  I suggest you take a look at my book - Leave Your Wife & Become a Happier Man with the 3 Step System.
